Have a Restful Weekend!

Dear Children and Families,

Thank you for another successful week of getting to know each other and learning Team 72’s classroom routines.  Hopefully everyone has a restful weekend since the cold season has already begun J

Reminders:

-    In-Line Skating starts next week.  Rm.72 is skating on Wednesday September 21 from 8:25-9:20.  Students need to bring their own helmet, and they are to wear socks and comfortable clothing.

-    Parent volunteers are still needed for next week, as well as, for Friday September 30 and Wednesday October 12 both dates from 8:25 – 9:20.  If you are interested please email Ms. MacMillan ( lgmacmillan@cbe.ab.ca ) or Ms. Collins ( clcollins@cbe.ab.ca ). Thank you!

-    Fun Lunch is next Wednesday September 21.
- Open House/Meet the Teacher Night - Thursday September 22, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
- Friday September 23 - PD Day - No School for all students

Today:

We read to ourselves and with a buddy today.  We picked new books for our book bins.

We practiced our sight words and wrote them into our word work books.

We finished our Peace Rock writing.

We had a body break outside on the playground and enjoyed the nice weather.

In Science we finished our work about the question “How Do We Know it is Fall Outside” and we got our science folders today.
