Important
Words:
POWER WORDS: because asked into
don’t
These are words we are learning to read
and spell.
ACADEMIC WORDS: add plus minus
take away community, tradition,
celebration,
These are words that we are learning to
understand the meaning of in math and social studies.
Today:
We read to self, read to someone
and listened to reading.
We wrote about our connections
and questions and visualized from the story Just One Goal! By Robert
Munsch.
In word work we talked about words
that change when they end in a bossy e.
In math we showed what we know
about adding and subtracting. We also
played a game called And and Makes.
Ask me about Mission
Impossible in gym.
In social studies
we tried to follow someone else’s map to find a hidden stuffy.
Tomorrow’s
Class Leader:
Kaitlyn (remember to bring a stuffy to share!)
See you all tomorrow wearing red for our Chinese New Year
celebration!
