Learning Commons, Dance Rehearsal, Writing!

Dear Children and Families,

Tomorrow Wednesday April 19^th, the classes at Cranston School will be performing their dance from their dance residency program in gym.  Team 72 will be performing their dance from 1:20 – 1:50 in the gym.  Parents are welcome to come and watch! 

Reminders:

·      Tomorrow is Picture Day!

·      Fun Lunch Tomorrow.

·      Students brought home new Learning Common books.  Students can bring back late library books and Ms. Collins will allow students to go get new books on Friday J

·      Scholastic due back April 24

·      Family Fun Rainbow Bowling - first come first serve

Today:

In Reading, we did Read to Self and Read to Someone today.  A guided reading group performed a ‘Reader’s Theatre’.

In Math, we continued to practice our adding skills with math games, along with Mrs. Brace. 

We had our dance dress rehearsal in gym today. 

In writing, we started working on our “I am a Tree” Poems.  We are making our ideas more interesting by adding words to help us make a picture in our heads!  Please share how you can make ‘ I see grass’, more interesting J

Team 72 went to the Learning Commons to get new books out.  Ms. Collins will allow students to go this Friday if they bring in their late books from home.

Ms. MacMillan will see you Wednesday and Thursday.  Ms. Collins will see you Friday. J

Wednesday class leader is Xavier.  Please bring in something that will fit in our egg and think of two clues to share with the class. J
