Burrowing Owls, My Autumn Tree, Skip Counting

Today:

We read to ourselves and we read with a buddy or a book buddy while Ms. Collins did guided reading. 

In Writing, we made a visual journal page called ‘My Autumn Tree’.  Please share what you wrote about your tree. 

In Math, we practiced our skip counting forwards and backwards by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s up to 100. 

We had gym outside and played a game of soccer.

In science, we continued our Alberta Glassland study.  We looked at a Burrowing Owl habitat.  Why is the bird called a Burrowing Owl?
