Monday with Team 72!

Reminders:

-    Fun Lunch is Wednesday November 23^rd.

-    Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday November 24^th from 4 – 7 pm and Friday November 25^th from 8am – 12pm – No School Friday November 25^th.

-    If you have any shoe boxes at home please bring them in by next Monday November 28^th.

-    Land Mark Cinema fundraiser due November 24^th.

-    Fill a Sock Campaign – bring in $5 and a pair of warm adult size socks (socks are optional) – ends December 1^st

-    Library Book Exchange – Monday November 28^th. – please bring back books by Thursday November 24^th.

Today:

We started our day doing our spelling centres. 

We read to ourselves and read with a buddy while Ms. Collins did guided reading. 

Power words this week are; going, put, said, want, big.

In word work, we wrote down our new words and wrote sentences.  When we were done we practiced our spelling and reading of all of our power words in our mini-white boards with a partner.

In math, we worked on our good copies for making 15.

We had gym and music today.  Please tell your parents what you did.

We finished the day working on science.  We worked in our animal groups sketching our plans for our dens and burrows we are creating next week.  We are also making a list of all the materials we will be using.
