Important
Words:
POWER WORDS: there where their when
These are words we are learning to read
and spell.
ACADEMIC WORDS: strategy
These are words that we are learning to
understand the meaning of in math and social studies.
Today:
We read to self and read to
someone. Ask me about my new bookmark
with reading STRATEGIES.
We read for 30
minutes.
We wrote about
PINK shirt day in our visual journals
We listened to the stories Peepsqueak Finds and Friend and One Good Deed.
In math we learned a new
counting strategy called CHISENBOP. Grab
a dice and ask me to show you how I can press some numbers.
During Social Studies we shared our
community maps. We are going to find out about the different kinds of nature in our
community tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s
Class Leader:
Hannah (remember to bring a stuffy to share).
See you tomorrow!
Ms. MacMillan
