What do Snowmen do on the Weekend?

Reminders:

HOMEWORK:  Have an adult help you Write your address and Find your house on the map of Cranston coming home in your backpack today.  Bring it back to school by Wednesday.

-Family Movie Night form coming home tonight

-HOME READING:  You can Jump Into the Book at home now!  Let’s use my Fortune Teller to talk about the books we read together.  Reading is about learning to say the words AND understanding what they mean. 
-Dress Warm Monday and Tuesday - gym will be outside.

POWER WORDS:            back one mother but how

These are words we are learning to read and spell.

ACADEMIC WORDS:       add  plus  altogether                             community, symbol, right, responsibility

These are words that we are learning to understand the meaning of in math and social studies.

Today:

We read to self and read to someone.

We read for 20 minutes today.

Ask me what we did during gym.

We jumped into the book called Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Beuhner.  We used our fourtune teller to help us think and write about what happened in the story.

Ask me what I did in my club.

Monday’s Class Leader: Parker(remember to bring a stuffy)
