Dear Children and
Families,
Next week on Tuesday
February 14th, on Valentines Day, Team 72 will have the opportunity
to participate in a traditional Valentines Day exchange. Students are welcome to bring a valentine for
everyone in the classroom (22 in total).
Please only put on the Valentine who it is from, this saves time during
the exchange and eliminates the need to bring home a class list J Thank you!!

We did reading today. We read with ourselves and read to someone
else.

We had gym today. Please share what you did today.
Ms. Collins read to us the book, “Just
Like Me, Climbing a Tree’ by Durga Yael Bernhard.
We finished our
‘My Winter Tree’ writing. When we were finished we were asked to draw a
picture and write about anything we have been listening to about trees. Some ideas were; My Perfect Tree, Climbing a
Tree, Walking in the Forest, My Tree Fort.
In Math, we practiced our math
skills playing math games. We ended the
class practicing ordering numbers from greatest to least and least to greatest.
In Science, we started our plan
for building our forts.
In Art, we listened to Liam and
Brooke share information about Arbor Day to the class and we then had an
anonymous vote to see what would be our top 2 pieces of artwork for the
invitations to Arbor Day. Please share
to your parents what you know about Arbor Day.
When is Arbor Day? Why is
Cranston School having Arbor Day?

Ms. MacMillan will see you for the rest of the week J Ms. Collins will see you next Monday and
Tuesday. J
Wednesday class leader is Wesley. Remember to bring a stuffie to share with the
