Dear Children and Families,
Reminders:
-Return Family Movie Night tonight
-Half day tomorrow
-Pajama day tomorrow
-Club Friday Tomorrow, dress for the
weather if your club is outside.
-It’s COLD!!!!! Dress warm every
day with snowpants, boots, jackets, hats and mitts!
Today:
We had a visit from Baby Thomas.
We started our
day with spelling
centres.
We read to self and read to
someone.
During writing we jumped into a
book! We talked about visualizing what
is happening using our 5 Senses.
In word work we played the Making
Words game. We used the letters i e g g s t b to spell words.
In math we sorted, made
patterns, counted, matched numbers and words, played war and put together a
number puzzle during centres.
We sang Christmas
Carols in the gym and said Goodbye to Mrs Jones, she is retiring and we are
really going to miss her!
We shared what we
know about our family in social
studies.
Tomorrow’s
Class Leader:
Retaj (remember to bring a picture or photo to share!)
Mrs Collins will be with the children
