Today:
We read to self
and read to someone.
During writing we jumped into a
book! We talked about accessing our prior
knowledge to understand what the writer is trying to tell us.
We listened to Shelia Rae the
Brave by Kevin Henkes. Ask me how I used
my prior knowledge to understand this story.
In word work we played the Making
Words game. We used the vowels a
and i.
In math we had time to use our
pattern centres.
Constable Kerry
was our guest today and we talked about our strengths.
We rehearsed our
Xmas Concert songs with Mrs McBride.
