Today:
We practiced reading to self and reading
to someone.
We sang Christmas Carols
together in the gym.
We met a new friend named Roland
today. He will be joining our class
after the winter break.
In writing we created thinking
caps to help us think while we are reading and writing. Ask me what mine looks like.
In word work we used the letters
t t b h s u a to make words.
In math we played a game called
7 UP. Ask me why this is going to help me learn about making 10 and adding.
Ask me what I did during music and phys ed.
We listened to a story called The
Important Book by Margaret Wise Brown.
We talked about
very important people in Social
Studies today. Us! We shared our stories with each other and
began some writing.
