Book Exchange Tomorrow!

Reminders:

·      Book Exchange is tomorrow Tuesday April 4.  Please return all over due books tomorrow.

·      Club Friday is Friday April 7.

Today:

In reading, we did read to self and read to someone today. 

In word work, we had another spelling quiz on 25 more Power Words from our word wall.  We will have another quiz next week on 25 more.

In writing, we choose one topic to write about from our Spring Break.  We came up with a title and tried to write as many ideas as we could about the topic.  We were able to draw a picture first.  As a class we came talked about how we get more ideas to write about. 

In math we practiced place value as a class with numbers up to 100.  Tomorrow we are going to practice adding numbers using 10’s and 1’s.

We had gym and music today.  Please share what you did.

In Science, we read a book called, “It’s Spring”, by Linda Glaser.  We talked about all the changes we are seeing, feeling and doing this time of year.

Homework:  Please have a look at a deciduous tree (a tree that looses their leaves in the winter) in your yard or street, and see if you can see any buds growing at the ends of the branches J
