·      Arbor Day – Thursday May 4 – 6:00 – 7:30 pm – All Parents Welcome!  Students from Team 72 will be presenting their Arbor Day Learning at 6:05 pm in the gym

Today:

Team 72 did reading.  We did read to self and read to someone else.

Team 72 had a special guest, an artist, Mrs. Ellison, come to teach us art for the afternoon.  We will be making something that will be displayed for Arbor Day.

In writing, we finished our good copies for ‘I am a Tree’ Poem.

In Word work, we practiced with a partner spelling and reading all of the power words on the word wall.

In Math, we played a game with the whole class practicing our subtracting skills.  We then went into two groups to keep working on our math adding skills with Mrs. Brace and Ms. Collins.

Team 72 went to the Learning Commons to exchange books.

Ms. MacMillan will see you tomorrow and Thursday.  Ms. Collins will see you Friday. J

Wednesday class leader is Brooke.  Please bring in something that will fit in our egg and think of two clues to share with the class. J
