Reminders:

-    Book Exchange is Monday November 14^th.

-    Remembrance Day Assembly is on Thursday November 10^th.

Today:

We read to ourselves and read with a buddy while Ms. Collins did guided reading.  Readers were asked to find and read as many power words they could find.

Power words this week are; about,  has,  go,  we,  me. 

In writing, we wrote about how we take care of our pet or plant at home.  We use a lot of power words in our writing.

 

In Math, finished representing numbers from 11 to 20 using ten frames.  We then wrote the addition equation to go with the ten frames.  For example: 10 + 1 = 11, 10 + 2 = 12, 10 + 3 = 13

We had gym today.  Please tell your parents what you did.

In science, looked at pictures of dens and burrows of the following animals; Swift Fox, Prairie Dog, Badger, Richardson Ground Squirrel, Prairie Rattlesnake and Coyote. Please share with your parents how you would create a den or burrow for one of these animals so they would stay warm for the winter. What would you need to make one?
