Dear Children and Families,

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday November 24^th from 4 – 7 pm and Friday November 25^th from 8am – 12pm – No School Friday November 25^th. – Conference booking website will open November 17^th at 8 pm. for parents.

Reminders:

POWER WORDS: came, by, us, get, this

-Popcorn Snack on Friday: bring $2 if you would like to participate

-Friday is club day, dress for the weather if your club is outside

-Please bring a shoe box to use during science next week

-Class leaders please bring in a photo or picture to share on your day

-Home Reading: have you been practicing at home?

-Half Day tomorrow.

Today:

Ask me about our new Spelling Centres.

In reading we read to someone (a partner or a book buddy), then read to self.

During writing we revised and edited our story today.  We have created a mini book!

We listened to a performance by the Canyon Meadows School Girls Choir.

In word work we played the Making Words game.

In math we talked about and created growing patterns.
