Roland's First Full Day!

Reminders:

-    Swimming forms went home today

-    Mad Science forms went home today – they are due Friday January 6^th.

-    Learning Commons book exchange will be Monday January 9^th.

Today:

We started our day with a special guest talking about the ear and how is works and what people do when they can’t hear as well as others.  We welcomed Roland today into our classroom.  It was his first full day with us J We are very excited to have him in our classroom!

We read the book, “I Show Respect” and we reviewed Team 72’s promise and Roland added his name to the poster.  Share one way you showed respect today.

This week Power Words:  her,  him,  very,  I’m,  play.

We did some writing today.  We drew a picture of our favorite memory from the holidays and wrote about it.

In Math, we learned about ordinal numbers.  Where do we use ordinal numbers?

We had gym today. Share what you did in gym today.

We read a book called, “I’m a Good Friend”.  We talked about all the ways we can be good friends to one another.
