Today:

We read to ourselves and with a buddy today while Ms. Collins started reading with her guided reading groups.

Our Power Words for the week are; ‘ the, in, are, with, you’.  We practiced using these words in sentences and wrote them in our Word Work books.

We went to the learning commons for a tour and we took out two books to take home.  We are not using library cards this year.

We had gym and music today.  In gym we went outside and practiced some running activities to prepare for the Terry Fox Run next week.

In Math, Ms. Collins put up a large 0 – 100 number line in the classroom and we practiced skip counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.

In Art, we started a fall tree picture using warm and cool colors.  What are some examples of cool and warm colors?

Have a wonderful evening!  Ms. Collins will be teaching  TomorrowJ

Tuesday Class Leader is Parker!
