Today:
We practiced reading quietly to ourselves
and reading with a partner. Mrs Gates read with small groups for reading
lessons.
Good writers write and draw every
day. We watched a video about Terry Fox
and wrote about what we learned.
We listened to a story called I
feel Orange Today by Patricia Godwin.
We had a lesson
about being honesty about making mistakes to be able to solve a problem and showing
respect for the books
and tools in our class.
During word work we practiced
spelling all our Power Words using the white boards. Have you practiced reading or spelling our
Power Words at home?
We ran for the 2016 Cranston Terry Fox Run.
Tomorrow’s
