Reminders:
-Entertainment Book Fundraiser ongoing
-I CAN bags can be shared Thursday or Friday
-Important note from Calgary Police Service coming home today.

Today:
I CAN BAGS:  We have a lot of connections to each other!  Many of us can put puzzles together, build with Lego, read and play soccer.

We read to self and read to someone.  We will practice reading together every day.

In writing we learned that good writers think, talk, listen, draw, write and share.  We worked in our journals to draw, label and write sentences.  We also practiced Finger Spelling to sound out words we don’t know how to write yet.

During word work(spelling) we sorted letters, words and sentences.

In math we began work on number books to show what we know about the numbers 0 - 20.

Ask me what I did during music and gym.

We had a fire drill to practice being safe.

In health we learned about giving and receiving compliments.

Kid Reporter:
Sam says we had a fire drill.  We were fast and quiet.
Addisyn says today in math we made a number book.
Parker says we sang a peaceful song that almost made me fall asleep.
Xavier says we waited quietly outside during the fire drill.

See you tomorrow!

  1. Hi!
Retaj said we practiced peace songs and other songs today.
In gym we played with the parachute, the Sharks game:)

And today she read a book to herself and with her classmate, Xander. The title of the book was "The Japanese Bell".
