Mammals, Birds, Wild Flowers and Grasses from Alberta Grasslands!

Reminders:

-    Students brought home two books from the library. Next Library exchange is Monday October 17.

-    Wednesday October 5^th is PHOTO DAY.  Please bring back the form by Wednesday.

-    No School Friday October 7^th – PD Day

-  Gym will continue to be outside this week if the weather permits.

Today:

We read to ourselves and we read with a buddy while Ms. Collins did guided reading.  We almost read to ourselves for 20 minutes! Way to go Team 72!

This weeks power words are ‘went,  from,   to,   be,   of’. 

We went to the library to exchange our books.

In Math, we skipped counted by 2’s and 5’s on a 100 chart. Please ask me to skip count as high as I can goJ

We had music.  Please ask me what we did in music today.

In science, we started our Alberta Glassland study.  We learned about different types of grasses, wild flowers, mammals and birds in the prairies.
